Information | A kind of red seawead called Rhodolite formed when the area was under the sea, 20m years ago. |
The Rhodoliti formation is made of big nodules of red kelps whose origins date back to about 20 millions years ago, when the territory of Rosignano Monferrato was covered by sea water, in the hamlet Colma. You can find other emerging rocks in the chief village, near the “Tina” and in Viale Repubblica.
